After 30+ years, I have developed a deep understanding of the wholesale wine industry, including supply chain (import and domestic), sales management, sales reporting, marketing, wholesale operations, team building, leadership, and customer relations. As founding partner of Verity Wines, I have experience in strategic planning of wholesale wine operations, finance, sales and marketing. Developing a turnkey fine wine distributor was a result of extensive relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues in the industry. Furthermore, a strong background in directed sales and marketing has allowed me to turn supplier objectives into sales strategies that deliver meaningful results quickly and effectively.

We currently provide a number of services including business development for startups in the importing and distribution sector, consulting for wine trade organizations, marketing services for wineries and sales & leadership training for wholesale wine distributors looking to improve their sales performance. We have a strong record of achievement in building sales organizations and market share, management, forecasting, strategic planning and follow through to reach immediate and long term goals.
With 35 years of experience in wholesale wine distribution, I have developed a series of full day workshops and half-day sessions which explore the root causes of the problems sales & management teams experience every day, and offer intelligent, proven solutions and advice. Through video, lecture and working sessions, we offer powerful tools for training, coaching and rethinking the way you engage your employees, your suppliers and your customers. Currently, Drewmar is also preparing to advise startups engaged in cannabis distribution and sales in the state of New York.
One of the founding group of four partners who started Verity, a wholesale wine distribution company, in New York/New Jersey in fall of 2009. Led strategic planning of the company, pulling sales personnel and suppliers together with a management team to launch a turnkey organization which has rocketed into the top ten fine wine wholesalers in New York State.
Led sales, marketing and brand management team for one of the most successful wine wholesale companies in the US. While in this position, saw sales grow from $50 million to $100 million and supervised a sales team of sixty sales reps and fifteen managers. Marketing plans were developed to dovetail with sales objectives to create an environment where everyone was rewarded for success.
