As one of the nation’s leading beverage experts, Nick Babcock advocates cocktail culture and promotes new ideas to help keep the hospitality industry performing at its finest. He holds great experience through a vast network of concepts helping clients achieve their beverage objectives one by one. His work and expertise have impacted hundreds of beverage programs and events throughout the country. Nick is known for developing cocktail recipes and beverage menus for a multitude of bars, restaurants, clubs, and hotels that are looking to revive the art of the cocktail through the use of quality ingredients paired with classic & innovative technique. Nick conducts hands-on training seminars that teach a variety of fundamentals including product training, bartending and bar management, inventory & cost control, and the best use of high-quality spirits and fresh ingredients Nick Babcock has a strong passion for studying the history and production of spirits, wine, beer along with the art of understanding how to combine these ingredients to create something even more special. He believes that cocktails should be easy to understand while always stirring the imagination and creating an experience for the consumer to remember.
Nick Babcock has worked in the beverage & hospitality industry for over 20 years gaining experience from companies such as Republic National Distributing, PHCP, Monin Gourmet Flavourings, McCormick & Schmick’s, The Cheesecake Factory, and Hubbell & Hudson Bistro. His work has been featured on menus and promotions across the nation at fine establishments such as Hard Rock Café, Petco Park, Starbuck’s, Applebee’s, Twin Peaks, and Landry’s. He has also developed countless recipes and represented dozens of brands and beverage suppliers including Red Bull, Pernod Ricard, Brown Forman, CampariAmerica, Bacardi, and Remy Cointreau. His signature cocktails have been showcased at annual events such as the MyTable Culinary Awards, Vibe Conference, Euphoria Festival, and the Epcot Food & Wine Affair. Nick is a Certified Specialist of Spirits (CSS) through the Society of Wine Educators and also a graduate of the distinguished BAR-5 program in NYC.
