The Online Sales Manager is responsible for the day to day servicing and maintaining of the digital business leads received via the Packaging Options Direct website. this position is also responsible for growing the company's online business by value added selling and relationship building which results in account growth and new customer acquisition.
Initiate initial sales activity through online lead follow-up, online quote requests, and offline orders as required to best service the small to medium customer with stock packaging needs (sell what you have)
Post initial sale or contact, ensure the ongoing accountant maintenance be facilitated through the website and online tools.
Creative self-service model using online features and functionality. Promote the use of stock product options, online order tracking, website ordering and payment and customer support through the 1-800 number, chat or email.
Collaborate with marketing team on promotional campaigns to drive significant online revenue and gross profit growth.
Partner with the lead-generation team to assign all digital leads with the proper business development team.
Work with supply chain team to develop and maintain partnerships with vendors to support current and future business. Could also include qualifying and/or re-qualifying of vendors specific to the business.
Has strong communication skills, speaks with a welcoming tone of voice, presents a professional demeanor in all modes of communication
Ability to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with those contacted in the course of assigned responsibilities and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace.
Organized, extremely detailed, able to multi-task under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong oral, written, and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
Technology knowledge and familiarity with proficiency in Excel.

Prior packaging or industry related experience a plus.
Prior ecommerce experience in a B2B or direct customer sales experience a plus.

Excellent customer service skills.
Prefer experience working with an ERP package (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.).
