JOB DESCRIPTION:

Jiant is looking for an experienced National Accounts Manager to play a critical role in building Jiant’s national chain business. This is a huge-impact role with unlimited opportunity to grow and create the future with us as a prominent player in an exploding category. Deep commercial knowledge, pension for developing strategic relationships and tenacity to define and achieve success at retail will be essential in this role. 

The Southeast National Account Manager is responsible for developing and increasing the Company’s business in all Regional Accounts located in the Southeast. Reports to: The Sr. Director of National Accounts and works with buyers, distributors, and field sales teams to ensure consistent execution of Company priorities and goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Build effective long-term relationships with retail chain buyers, distributors and key internal/external stakeholders
  • Maintain high level of interaction and communication with retail chain buyers and their respective division and district management teams
  • Develop annual business plan for assigned accounts and identify resources needed to successfully execute the plans
  • Identify and set distribution objectives within priority accounts and develop selling story and action plan to successfully close against objectives
  • Create, organize and implement chain programming and promotions
  • Track, analyze, synthesize data to inform strategic insights and action plans
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure impact by channel, program and aggregate
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and regional sales team to ensure successful execution at retail
  • Schedule, prepare for, and conduct regular meetings and presentations with prospective and current chain buyers
  • Ensure that your team has resources needed to deliver desired results
  • Align sales team behind the targets and create a passion for winning in the organization

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5+ years proven Sales leadership in National Account Management in Bev Alc
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
  • Experience calling on and working with the primary and secondary chains in the territory including but not limited to: Publix, Kroger, Harris Teeter, Whole Foods, Food Lion, SEG, Wegmans, and others.
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate and work effectively across functional groups/departments
  • Ability to apply business experiences across multiple product lines and/or channels
  • Aptitude to think creatively and strategically, and translate strategy into operational tactics
  • An independent mindset, valuing collaborative decision making, capable of championing ideas with confidence
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to analyze data and track performance.
  • Proven track record of creating compelling and successful sales presentations tailored to customers as well as the ability to effectively communicate programs to Field Sales team

DETAILS

  • This is a full-time role that will require safe travel within the assigned territory 
  • Position reports to Director of National Accounts and will also work closely with the founders and regional sales team
  • Compensation commensurate with experience and highly competitive
