Right now we need a Director of National Accounts, E-Commerce living in Seattle, WA to lead and collaborate with our internal and external business partners in order to increase our sales through online avenues. We need someone who is intellectually curious, hungry to drive results, analytically inclined, and passionate about building relationships. This person will need to work strategically and cross-functionally with internal counterparts in Marketing, Sales, Consumer Insights, and Category Development among others in order to add value and develop our network of our external partners to grow our business in E-Commerce.
What You'll Do:
Works with VP National Accounts to develop E-Commerce sales strategy across current and future customers/channels
Identifies, evaluates, secures and executes sales opportunities by utilizing sales tools (IRI, Nielsen, VIP, Numerator)
Schedules and conducts regular sales calls with customers including business reviews and programming presentations.
Maximize the efficiency in consumers' online path to purchase within our external customers.
Collaborate with the National Account and Field Sales Team in order to increase the availability of online order & pickup, distributor fulfillment, forecasting, and program execution.
Collaborates with Marketing and Shopper Insights to ensure placement, imagery, pricing, product descriptions, and POS are up to date within e-commerce channels of purchase.
Manage the communication of expectations and timelines amongst the customer and distribution partners including product release schedules, volume forecasts, pricing, distribution targets, and support materials.
Conducts frequent surveys to ensure accurate pricing and programming is executed per quality standards.
Develops annual budget plans by chain/account – tracks and reports progress regularly (weekly / monthly / quarterly / annually).
Submits new item forms as needed among both chains and area distributors.
Performs administrative duties in a timely fashion, coordinates and participates in regularly scheduled sales meetings among distribution partners and internal staff, and maintains/publishes updated account lists including detailed communication history.
Responsible for maintaining a professional demeanor and presentation at all times – including situations in which alcohol is present.
Regular travel is required, up to 30%
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
What You'll Need:
2+ years of experience as a National/Strategic Account Manager or 5+ years of experience in retail/consumer products sales, promotional marketing, or eCommerce content/marketing
Experience in Digital / E-Commerce sales or beverage alcohol preferred
Thirst for knowledge & desire for continuous improvement
Bonus if the background in beer &/or spirits, brewing processes, and 3 tier trade information.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Advanced presentation & communication skills
Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
